The Fifth World Day of the Poor
Pope Francis has sent a message to all of us in which he quotes “The poor you will have with you always “ Mark 14:7 and says Jesus not only sides with the poor; he also shares their lot. And refers to Fr Damian of Molokai as an example. It is a summons not to miss the opportunity to do good.” It is important to understand how they feel, what they are experiencing and what their hearts desire.
The Synod Process
We are promised the questions for consultation in about 10 days time.To inform yourselves read the information for the Diocese and the content from the Bishops of England and Wales.
The Second Collection
The Second Collection is the annual one for the Retired Priests of the Diocese who have served in the Parishes of A&B. You may find it easier to make your donation via this method suggested in the ebulletin.

Remembrance Sunday
The nation stops, as it did on Thursday Armistice Day, for a 2 minute Silence to remember those who have died in armed conflicts and in doing so we pledge ourselves to work for peace.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord! And let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
