The Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

The last Sunday of January! After last Sunday – the Word of God Sunday – this one is Racial Justice Sunday with its own theme and relevance for the present day, following on yesterday’s Holocaust Memorial Day and the news that enfolds us. Amidst these issues, external Charities are gearing up for their fundraising for the weeks ahead. Remember first things first. You will find in our website information for reading and reflection.

St Bernadette’s School has an Assembly to celebrate the Feast at 9.15am. Our Celebration will be at 10.30am and I hope you may be able to be present.

At last, all-powerful Master
You give leave to your servant to go in peace,
According to your promise.
For my eyes have seen your salvation
Which you have prepared for all nations,
The light to enlighten the Gentiles.
And give glory to Israel, your people.
