The Twenty-first Week In Ordinary Time

The amazing red sun at its setting reminds us of the ever present effects on our world. Apparently, it was caused by wildfires in Canada .During September we observe the Season of Creation, concluding on the feast of St Francis of Assisi. Enjoy the last Bank Holiday of 2024!

Blessed Dominic Of The Mother Of God

A member of the Passionist Congregation , who came as a Missionary to England in 1841. He received John Henry Newman into full communion with the Catholic Church in 1863 on the 23rd October and we await his canonisation.
