The Fifth Week Of Lent

We move ever closer to Holy Week marked by the praying of the Preface of the Passion of the Lord -“For the days of his saving Passion and glorious Resurrection are approaching, by which the pride of the ancient foe is vanquished and the mystery of our redemption in Christ is celebrated”. As the last days of our Lenten journey unfold we renew the resolutions and consider the effects of our prayer, self-denial and generosity and enter into the days of remembrance and celebration of the significant events as Jesus completes his ministry.
