Calming the waters is something we have to do now and then. If we think of the many situations facing the world, we can appreciate how sometimes the problems rumble on or there is no resolution. The Gospel theme, accompanied by Elijah’s encounter, is reassuring.

Bishop-Elect Stephen
His Ordination as a Bishop will take place on Monday, 19 October, the Feast of St Philip Howard. It will be livestreamed from Arundel Cathedral.
