The Twenty-Ninth Week in Ordinary Time

Mass Schedule

  • Friday, 30 October, 12:30pm – Requiem Mass for Julian Taylor RIP

Pope Leo

We continue our prayers for Pope Leo as he recovers following his operation, praying for his health and well-being in the future. Perhaps consider offering a decade of the Rosary each day?

Julian Taylor RIP

The Requiem Mass for Julian Taylor has been fixed for Friday, 30 October at 12:30pm. Among his many years of parish service, Julian oversaw the counting of the Sunday collections and the Red Mission Boxes, served as the inaugural Chair of St Bernadette’s, and chaired the Board of Governors at Cardinal Newman Catholic School, and the Board of Governors at St Joseph’s School.

Mission Sunday

As last Sunday’s second collection was for PACT (the prison charity), the annual collection for Missio will take place in two weeks’ time.

The Ordination Liturgy

Listen out during the Litany of the Saints when, among many others, St John Henry Newman, St Bernadette, and St Carlo Acutis will be invoked. There will also be a rich variety of music accompanying the liturgy, including the Veni Creator Spiritus.

Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on him.

Melt him, mould him, fill him, use him.

Spirit of the living God, fall afresh on him.
