We may not have reached the goal yet! November is by tradition a time for remembrance. To commence, there are all the men and women who have officially been recognised as Saints and are included in the Calendar for celebration. Then an immense number we may come across whose lives have been ones of holiness; in fact, anyone who is baptised has the calling to be a saint.
We commemorate those who have died that they be in God’s loving embrace and in life had an impact on ourselves as we journey on.
There are so many ways in which we can remember those “we have loved and lost awhile”—in prayer, at Mass, visiting graves, and recalling them with family and friends.

The Word of Life
The November leaflet with a reflection on a word from Scripture is now on the table in the Entrance. It provides an opportunity to reflect prayerfully—Lectio Divina—and let it motivate your growth in holiness.

The 11 stitches have gone. Thank you for your prayers and good wishes.
Practical Steps to Sainthood
Watch your thoughts, they become words; watch your words, they become actions; watch your actions, they become habits; watch your habits, they become character; watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.
Our hope is that the life of glory enjoyed by the saints awaits us too.
May the Lord bless you
May the Lord protect you and guide you
May his strength uphold you
His light shine upon you
His peace surround you
His love enfold you
