2nd Sunday of Easter

EASTERTIDE. The season of 50 days continues to Pentecost. There is a devotion called the Via Lucis which helps us reflect on the appearances of the Risen Lord up to the Ascension In the Easter Masses of Easter Monday to Easter Saturday we have had some of those Appearances described by the Evangelists and the purpose is to recall the central event of Faith – the Resurrection of Christ , discipleship and the Sacrament of Baptism , as also the bright radiance of the light of grace .The way of the Cross involved us in the first part of the Paschal Mystery – the Passion -and now the Way of Light helps us on the continuing journey or pilgrimage of life.
